Planning an itinerary for New York City can be very overwhelming. There are so many things to do and see. My list is organized by neighborhood and covers everything from museums, cocktails, historic sites and food.

Day One

Soho/Little Italy/Lower East Side/Dumbo/Chinatown/Financial District/Tribeca

Breakfast in Lower Manhattan

Walk Around Lower Manhattan

Battery Park
Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island / 2-4 hours
9/11 Memorial Museum / 1.5-2.5 hours

Morning bike ride in Central Park
Bike by Juillard School
Strawberry Fields in Central Park
Coffee at Le Pain Quotidien
Natural History Museum
The Metropolitan Museum of Art
The Guggenheim Museum
Drop your bikes off and head to The Plaza Hotel for drinks and a snack
Stroll down 5th Avenue / Don’t miss the window displays and light show at Macy’s
Other Historic Hotels to stop into / St. Regis / Waldorf Astoria
Times Square
Broadway Show or Rockettes
Rockefeller Center / See the Christmas Tree & skating rink
St. Patrick’s Cathedral
The Rainbow Room / in the evening grab a drink a get a spectacular view for free!
